Green Salve

An all-round herbal skin healing salve for soothing and healing all sorts of cuts, bites, stings, scrapes & rashes.

Made by infusing fractionated coconut oil with calendula, plantain, yarrow & comfrey over a 4 week period, and then turning the infused oil into a salve by melting with beeswax and shea butter. I also add some essential oils of lavender and rosemary to add a light smell and support shelf life of the product.

Apply directly twice daily until skin is healed.

Calendula, plantain, yarrow and comfrey are all wonderful skin healing herbs. Calendula and plantain impart soothing, healing, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic qualities, along with yarrow, which also helps to stop bleeding. Comfrey is a tissue healer and helps to re-knit tissues back together quickly. Comfrey also helps to repair soft tissue tears and muscle strains.
